We have a website again, woo!

Apparently the hardware our site runs on decided it wanted to have some sort of issue on Saturday evening. Maybe it just wanted a weekend off. Hey, you're a robot! OK, technically a computer. You don't get a week off, now get back to work! slacker! The hosting company got it fixed. I don't know if they had a long talk with it, whipped it into shape, or just fired its stupid ass and hired another robot ... OK, fine, computer, happy?, but it's all working again.

Tech Issues -- Website Down

You've probably already noticed that http://www.107thephoenix.com/ is down. We're working with the website hosting company, and will get the site up and running as soon as possible.

The good news is that the shows are still running and the music is still streaming. How do you get to it, you ask? Simple, we answer! Go to http://loudcity.com/stations/107thephoenix/files/show/listen.html and you'll find all of the familiar tune-in links.

Contact Management with any questions.

Goings On At The Phoenix

We've been a bit remiss lately, so here's a batch of updates to get everyone caught up with recent changes at 107ThePhoenix.

Have you been missing your morning fix with the Music Marathon on weekday mornings? Don't worry, Brian Ford is still putting out a great mix of music, just at a new time. Catch the Music Marathon on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Eastern, and get an extra dose on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Brian Ford will be bringing you the same great mix of music, including your requests, so get in touch with him and let him know what you want to hear.

Alas, we're going to be without The Chosen One's special charm for the next couple of weeks, as he takes care of moving and getting the studio set up in his new digs. We'll let you know when The Extreme Shakedown is ready to make its return to the air, so watch this spot to be in the know!

Don't think you can make it through your Monday afternoon without some help from the Phoenix? We wouldn't leave you hanging. Tennesee Chad will be doing a special edition of the All 'Afternoon' Cafe tomorrow from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, so be sure to tune in and give him a holler.

Positive Connection Schedule

There will be no Positive Connection tonight or next Sunday night (the 14th), because our host Wonderdog has other commitments. However, you can still get a double dose of the Positive Connection on Monday and Tuesday night each week.

Monday night Wonderdog will be bringing you the usual Monday night mix, including the dramas. Tuesday night will be a make-up of Sunday's show, starting at 6:00 pm Eastern, and will include the Faith Top 30. So tune in and get your positivity fix each week!

The Tuesday Night 80's Craze will return on February 23rd when Wonderdog returns to his regular schedule.

Thanks for listening!

Updates, Updates, Updates!

It's a new year, and there are plenty of new changes at 107ThePhoenix!

Most importantly, we have several new shows. You can now start your weekdays with Brian Ford and the Music Marathon, running Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 10:00 am Eastern. Next, Tadd Michaels takes you through the rest of the morning with Mid-Days with Tadd on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Don't worry, Lucky Lady steps in to cover the rest of your mid-days with the Country Round-Up on Tuesdays and A Walk Down Memory Lane on Thursdays till 2:00 pm. And don't forget the rest of the great shows that keep the music flowing into the evenings and right through the weekend! Check out the broadcast schedule on the site for all the details.

We've got plenty of options for listening to the station listed on our Tune In page, but now we've added one more! If you can't or don't want to launch a player (e.g. winamp or Windows Media Player), you can listen right in the browser. Just go to our station page on LoudCity.com and click on the Tune In button.

There are lots of ways to keep in touch with us at 107ThePhoenix, including Windows Live Messenger (add talk@107thephoenix.com to your contacts), email (check the Talk to Us page on the site), and now Twitter! You can also find our DJ's in the DJ Break Room on New Visions Network during their shows. We're proud to be partnered with NVN, a group of blind and visually impaired individuals who enjoy spending time learning, playing and chatting with each other. Check out the schedule on their site to find out about the seminars, games, and tournaments you can participate in each week.

So that's it for now, but stay tuned for more updates as the station continues to grow.

Thanks for listening!

Servers are back

The servers are back online, and The Chosen One is broadcasting. Yay!

Server issues

Apparently our servers are down, the company's site doesn't come up either. I'm guessing they've had an outage. We'll post to the blog as soon as we know that they're back up.
